The Shawnee County Historical Society published its Bulletins between 1947 and 2009. Using excerpts or reprints from primary sources as well as material written at the time of publication, the Bulletins cover aspects of the history of Topeka and the surrounding area from the time of first settlement, through World War I, with smaller amounts of content up to the late 20th century. Articles about social events and clubs, biographies, political and economic history, buildings and land use, industry, and more are included.
