DescriptionA black and white photocopy of a newspaper article published by the Topeka Capital Journal on volunteer, John Meinholdt, spotting the tornado from Burnett's mound. Meinholdt was the first to spot the tornado as it formed and alerted the weather bureau. The article mentioned Meinholdt expressed irritation over how long it took for the sirens to be sounded, and elaborated on the age of their equipment.
