DescriptionTwo-page, handwritten document submitted to TSCPL as a part of its collecting initiative "I Remember the July 1951 Flood"; tells the personal memories of Duane (no last name given), who was 25 years old in July 1951 and living in Manhattan; he had just returned from ROTC training at Ft. Hood and had a summer job at the Morrell meat packing plant as a trucker; he only worked one week before the flood came and destroyed the plant; Morrell decided to close its doors afterwards and Duane lost his job
